To celebrate its fifteenth anniversary, Barcelona’s Acadèmia Altimira, commissioned Spanish creative consultants Masquespacio to redesign both the school’s interior and its company branding.
The institution, which is located in the Catalan town of Cerdanyola del Vallés, is geared towards children, teenagers and young adults — a wide audience reflected in the nature of the new identity.
Three-quarter height plywood walls are installed within the 123 square meter space, maximizing available natural light. Between these partitions, an intimate series of learning zones is created where tutors are able to prepare students for college through English lessons and recital classes. The pod-like volumes can be enclosed with large retractable doors that slide into place.
