TableAir

March 11, 2016Blog

At Instinct Furniture we recognise the benefits of a height adjustable work space. That’s why most of our counters and help desks feature touch-button seating to standing height adjustability. Check out this blog for another clever example developed for the office furniture market.

Table air utilises integrated smart sensor to alter desk height. The standing desk has established itself as a must-have in hip offices worldwide, but until now, they’ve remained relatively simple. ‘TableAir’ breathes new life into the sit-to-stand situation. The workspace has an integrated distance sensing module (i.e. smart button) that raises or lowers to meet the user’s hand when held over the surface.

In addition to the module, a smart phone app (both android and IOS devices) allows for workstation scheduling in order to rise or lower desk positions in accordance to a pre-determined timeframe.

Each desk comes with LED ambient lighting that can be adjusted to a wide array of colors using either the app or smart button. ‘TableAir’ is currently available in four versions: white glossy, dark glossy, American cherry, and dark walnut. The surface is rated to hold up to 100kg, and has an electric motor that makes transitions smooth and silent. ‘TableAir’ is made from robust MDF.
